Berthed in printmaking, weaned on digital media, Vincent Marcone has become his own unique creation and the dark architect behind an electronic temple that now attracts converts from all over the world. Vincent made his debut with mypetskeleton.com, a digital art slideshow of wispy phantoms, lonely scarecrows and insects trembling in a world of rust and stained paper. Sinister yet soothing, mypetskeleton was instantly recognized by some of the leading media entities in the field, and went on to garner awards from places as diverse as the Emmy's, the Juno's, the Flash Forward Film Festival, Muchmusic, the MacWorld Digital Art Expo and David Bowie.com.
Vincent has worked with D20 studios and Guillermo Del Toro (director of Pan's Labyrinth) on an online game for Hellboy 2. His short film with co-director Rodrigo Gudino The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow screened in numerous festivals around the world, garnered several awards and was nominated for a Genie Award. He recently completed directing the animation and post treatment for Inside Hana's Suitcase (A Rhombus Media Production).
He currently resides in Guelph Ontario and leads a talented collective of artists in his studio at My Pet Skeleton Productions.
